Every 2nd to 5th year Shizuoka ALT for the 2014-2015 JET year is required to make a presentation of some sort. This can include either presenting a workshop/moderating a forum OR arranging a table display/running a game at the Teaching Bazaar for the conference. Please see the letter for more information. Presentation proposal sheet(s) are due by Thursday, July 17th.

The attached letter also includes a Japanese translation for JTEs. Since this document is only being sent to ALTs, please give a copy of this to any JTEs who are attending SDC with you this year. Every year we receive many requests for more JTE-led workshops at SDC, so if you know any JTEs who could present a workshop, please encourage them to submit their own proposals.

Thank you in advance for your presentation proposals and your contributions to SDC this year. If you have any questions about the conference or proposal submissions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.

Thank you,

Megan Locke

Prefectural Advisor, Shizuoka
